Vaccum Bag moulding is the most common and the advanced method to maufacture composites. It is highly impossible for an engineer in his life time to do this hands on process as it requires special permission to handle composites. So we at VES have collabrated with VAYU AERO, who are willing to offer one day workshop at the college premises. the course details are further provided, below.

 

 

Title:- Cost Effective Composite Material Manufacturing Using Vaccum Assisted Process.

 

Background:- From rockets to aircraft, tennis racket to sports cars and wind mill blades to speed boats, composite materials have emerged to dominant technology for accelerated industrial growth in global market. Their ultra light and super strong properties translate into high speed, enhanced safety and significant fuel saving. The latest advancements have led to cost effective composites manufacturing based on vaccum assisted process.

 

Scope:- This workshop will cover hands on experience using vaccum bagging method and critical factors for developing structural composites material using

* Resin Film Infusion

*Light Resin Transfer Moulding.

 

Who can attend :-

Currently pursuing and completed Bachelor /Master degree holders in (Aerospace, Aeronautical,

Mechanical, Production, Material science ) can attend.

 

Equipment provided:-

1) 1-meter s'glass fiber unidirectional / bidirectional.  

2) 100 gram Resin and hardener. 

3) Waxpol wax.

4) Flat sheet for preparing laminates. 

 

Lecture speech:- (1.30 mins+1.30 mins )  will have 3 hours. The will speech will focus on composite

importance and how the industry is preparing for the next generation requirements and how the vacuum

assisted process is going to do a major role in industry growth.
