Welcome to Fluid Mechanics and CFD Portal

Fluid mechanics, a special branch of general mechanics, describes the laws of liquid and gas motion. Examples of flows of liquids and gases in nature and in technical applications are flows in living organisms, atmospheric circulation,  oceanic currents, tidal ows in rivers, aero- and hydrodynamics forces acting on airplanes and ships, flows in water and gas turbines, pumps, engines, and others.

It is possible to apply numerical computer techniques to complex geometries, and specialized materials are now available to explain the new computational  fluid dynamics (CFD) approximations and methods.

In this module, you will be explained fundamentals of fluid mechanics which include integral and dierential equations, dimensional analysis and similarity, viscous and inviscid ows, compressible and incompressible flow and basic of computational fluid dynamics.

This is the best course for fresh graduates to have a deeper understanding of the fundamentals and become a better decesion maker in the professional career.

Star CCM + Basic Course

The STAR-CCM+ course is most suitable for engineers or analysts that are new to CD-adapco software or computational fluid dynamics in general.

The course is split into nine easy-to-digest modules, each of which is backed up with a range of practical examples that cover the full spectrum of industrial CFD use.

CFD is a precise science, there are very few engineers who are well versed in the subject. Graduates and professionals can register to this course to get the best out of it.
